Fluidic industrial pumps built to withstand the rigors of everyday use.
Adaptable for a Variety of Applications, Providing Precise Dispensing, Metering, or Mixing
The versatility of microfluidic technologies across various industrial sectors contributes to improved efficiencies in manufacturing, analysis, and quality control processes.
-
Inkjet & 3D Printing
Our fluidic pumps are versatile and can be used with various printing technologies, including Continuous Inkjet Printing, Drop-on-Demand, and 3D printing. Fluid Metering can precisely control fluid movement at microscale, directly impacting print quality, resolution, color accuracy, and overall printing efficiency. -
Cartridge Filling & E-Vaping Delivery
When dispensing high viscosity oils, manufacturers will distill the fluid with a thinning agent to dispense at a higher rate and increase throughput. Fluid Metering pumps provide three key attributes you should look for when building your next-generation application: flexibility, automation, and low maintenance. -
Semiconductors
Semiconductor manufacturing is a complicated process that involves making integrated circuits in multiple steps. Fluid Metering pumps are designed to meet the exact standards of the semiconductor industry, providing the minimal failure rate that is required for reliable production. -
Lubricant & Glue Dosing
In the field of lubricant and glue dosing, Fluid Metering pumps provide the ability to continuously heat fluids to maintain consistency in your application. This is particularly beneficial when using fluids that become more viscous in lower temperatures.
Not dealing with hot fluids? Our experience also includes applications with:
- 2-part epoxy mixing
- Windshield/glass coating
- Brake pads and alternator coating
- Solvent welding
- Robotic lubrication systems
- and more...
-
Cosmetic & Fragrance Generation
Fluid Metering pumps, built with CeramPump® valveless technology, support engineering requirements for continuous flow in cosmetic and fragrance production. This design offers reliability, accuracy, and precision without maintenance when compared to gear pumps.
Specific applications include:
- Injecting fragrance into ventilation systems
- Metering flavors & fragrances
- Odor control in waste management facilities
- and more...
-
Food & Beverage
For food and beverage applications, our pumps excel due to their easy-to-clean design. This feature is essential for maintaining sanitary conditions within the instrument, reducing the risk of cross-contamination while ensuring precision, accuracy, and a long lifespan.
Specific applications include:
- Candy coating
- Color additives
- Dispensing vitamins to milk or enzymes into animal feed
- Beer line and tap cleaning systems
- Metering beverages into flavoring
-
Contact Lens Manufacturing
In contact lens manufacturing, precision is key. Our pumps offer rapid self-priming capabilities, crucial for removing bubbles from tubing. This feature makes them more efficient than time pressure dosing.
-
Mosquito Abatement
Fluid Metering pumps are the preferred choice for mosquito abatement due to their durability and mobility in various environments, whether mounted on a truck or used in the field. The pump heads chemically inert ceramic materials guarantee compatibility with harsh pesticides, while its accurate and precise metering minimizes waste.

Versatile Pump Solutions for Semiconductor Manufacturing
Problem:
Semiconductor manufacturing involves the use of extremely corrosive chemicals, such as phosphoric acid, hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, and peroxide. These chemicals can bloom and seep when exposed to air, posing significant challenges in maintaining a safe and efficient manufacturing process.
Solution:
To address these challenges, Fluid Metering recommended the STF Fixed Dispense Pump with customized pump head materials. This chemically inert pump was designed with seals to prevent air from entering the pump head, thereby mitigating the risk of chemical exposure. Fluid Metering pumps are known for their accuracy and reliability making them ideal for various applications in semiconductor manufacturing, including deposition, etching, cleaning, dozing, sample delivery, and bath replenishment.
